uTexas Identity Manager (TIM)
The uTexas Identity Manager (TIM) enables the creation and management of identity accounts (commonly called UT EIDs) for the university community.
UT EIDs are assigned to both persons and non-person entities, such as departments and services. TIM consolidates data about these entities and provides a convenient single source of information for consuming information systems at the university, such as authentication management and directory services. TIM also provides ways for developers to consume and manage information for their own systems, while providing security and access controls.
- Coordinates the flow of data from source to consuming systems.
- Populates central campus directories.
- Provides tools for end-user and administrative management of the UT EID.
The uTexas Identity Manager is available at no cost to customers with UT EIDs.
